Opt-Out Management

Splashify Pro automatically handles opt-outs to keep you compliant with WhatsApp’s messaging policies.

Navigate to Settings → Opt Management.

How Opt-Outs Work

When a contact replies with an opt-out keyword:

STOPContact is marked as opted-out
UnsubscribeContact is marked as opted-out
No moreContact is marked as opted-out (if configured)

Opted-out contacts are:

  • Excluded from all broadcast campaigns automatically
  • Still able to initiate conversations with you
  • Flagged in their contact profile

View Opted-Out Contacts

  1. Go to Settings → Opt Management
  2. See a list of all contacts who have opted out
  3. Filter by date or search by name/phone

Re-Opt-In

A contact can opt back in by messaging keywords like START or Subscribe. Once re-opted in, they can receive broadcast messages again.

You can also manually remove a contact from the opt-out list:

  1. Find the contact
  2. Click Remove from Opt-Out
  3. Confirm

Only re-add contacts who have explicitly requested to receive messages again. Adding contacts who haven’t consented violates WhatsApp policy.

Opt-Out in Broadcasts

All broadcasts automatically skip opted-out contacts — no manual filtering needed.

Custom Opt-Out Keywords

Add custom keywords that trigger opt-out:

  1. Go to Settings → Opt Management
  2. Click + Add Keyword
  3. Enter the keyword (case-insensitive)

Compliance Note

Always include opt-out instructions in your marketing templates (e.g. “Reply STOP to unsubscribe”). This is required by WhatsApp’s policy for marketing messages.
