Business verification documents
To verify your business, Meta asks for one official document that shows your exact business name. Which documents count depends on your country.
You send it in the app: on the dashboard, open Increase your messaging limit & get your display name approved and click Start KYC. The step lists the documents for your country. To see another country, pick it under Not your country?. See Business verification (KYC) for the steps.
Pick your country
- India
- Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka
- UAE and Saudi Arabia
- Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain
- US, Canada and UK
- Australia, Singapore and Malaysia
- South Africa, Nigeria and Kenya
- All other countries
Before you send a document
- The business name on your document must match your business name on Meta exactly.
- Have a working website on your own domain that shows the same business name.
- Upload a full, clear scan or photo: all four corners, easy to read and not expired.
Other document
Every list ends with this choice. If you have none of the documents listed for your country, send:
- Other document: Any official paper from the government that shows your exact business name (for example a municipal license or a tax letter).
All other countries
If your country is not listed above, send one of these:
- Certificate of incorporation or business registration: From the government office that registers businesses in your country.
- Business or trade license: From your city, state or national government.
- Tax or VAT registration certificate: From your country's tax office, in the business name.
- Other document: Any official paper from the government that shows your exact business name (for example a municipal license or a tax letter).
Name does not match?
Change your business name on Meta so it is exactly the name on your document, then send the document again.
