Business verification documents: Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka

Meta asks for one official document that shows your exact business name. Send one of these.

Nepal

• Company registration certificate: From the Office of the Company Registrar.
• PAN or VAT registration certificate: From the Inland Revenue Department.
• Firm registration certificate: For a firm, from the office where you registered it.
• Other document: Any official paper from the government that shows your exact business name (for example a municipal license or a tax letter).

Bangladesh

• Trade license: From your city corporation or local council.
• Certificate of incorporation: From the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms (RJSC).
• BIN or VAT registration certificate: From the National Board of Revenue.
• Other document: Any official paper from the government that shows your exact business name (for example a municipal license or a tax letter).

Sri Lanka

• Certificate of incorporation: From the Registrar of Companies.
• Business registration certificate: For a sole or partnership business, from your Divisional Secretariat.
• VAT or TIN registration certificate: From the Inland Revenue Department.
• Other document: Any official paper from the government that shows your exact business name (for example a municipal license or a tax letter).

Before you send a document

• The business name on your document must match your business name on Meta exactly.
• Have a working website on your own domain that shows the same business name.
• Upload a full, clear scan or photo: all four corners, easy to read and not expired.
