Chrome extension

Splashify Pro for Chrome puts WhatsApp next to the pages you already work in. Right-click a phone number on any web page to send a WhatsApp message, read and answer your chats in a side panel, and get an alert when a customer writes to you.

What it does

  • Send from any page. Select a phone number on a web page (your CRM, a spreadsheet, an order list, an email), right-click it, point to Splashify Pro, then choose Send WhatsApp to the number. The side panel opens with that number ready.
  • Templates or a free reply. Send any of your approved templates. If the person wrote to you in the last 24 hours, you can also type a free reply. Outside those 24 hours, WhatsApp only allows a template.
  • Your inbox in the side panel. See your WhatsApp chats with their unread counts, search them, open a chat and reply.
  • New message alerts. The extension icon shows how many messages are unread, and you get a notification for each new message. Click it to open that chat.

It sends from your own WhatsApp Business number, and every message shows in your inbox in the app, just like a message you send from the app.

Install it

Coming soon on the Chrome Web Store.

Once it is there:

  1. Add it to Chrome

Open Splashify Pro for Chrome on the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome.

  2. Pin it

Click the puzzle icon at the top right of Chrome and pin Splashify Pro for Chrome, so its icon stays in the toolbar.

  1. Open the side panel

Click the Splashify Pro icon in the Chrome toolbar. The side panel opens.

  2. Click Sign in

A small window opens. If you are not signed in to Splashify Pro in this browser, sign in with the email and password you use for the app.

  3. Allow it

Check that the account shown is the right one and click Allow. The window closes and the side panel shows your inbox.

You stay signed in for 90 days. After that, the extension asks you to sign in again.

For now, the extension works with the account owner's login. Team member sign-in is coming soon.

Send a message from a web page

  1. Right-click the number

Select the phone number on the page, right-click it, point to Splashify Pro, then choose Send WhatsApp to the number. A 10-digit number without a country code, or a single 0 and then 10 digits, gets your default country code (India, 91, unless you change it in the extension's settings). For any other number without a country code, the extension asks you to check it and add the code.

  2. Choose a template or a free reply

Pick an approved template and fill in its blanks. The words from the row you selected on the page show as buttons, so one click fills a blank. Templates with an image, video or document at the top are sent from the app instead.

  3. Check and send

Check the preview and the price, then click Send. Click Open chat to follow the conversation in the side panel. People who asked not to get messages, and blocked numbers, can not be messaged.

What it costs

Messages you send with Splashify Pro for Chrome cost the same as messages you send from the app and are paid from your wallet. The price of each message, and of each reply in a chat, shows before you send it, and Send stays off until it does. If your wallet balance is too low, Send stays off and the extension links you to your wallet to recharge.

If no answer comes back after you click Send, the message may have been sent. Check the chat before you send it again.

Turn off alerts

Open the extension's settings in the side panel and turn off notifications. The unread count on the icon stays.

Remove its access

Sign out in the extension's settings signs it out of this browser only.

To stop it working everywhere, remove it from your account:

  1. Open Developer Settings

In the app, click Settings (the gear icon), then Developer Settings.

  2. Revoke it

In Access tokens, find Splashify Pro for Chrome with the date you signed in, and click Revoke. The extension can no longer send or read anything. Within a few minutes it signs out and asks to sign in again.
