Business verification documents: Australia, Singapore and Malaysia

Meta asks for one official document that shows your exact business name. Send one of these.

Australia

  • ABN registration record: Your Australian Business Number record from the Australian Business Register.
  • ASIC certificate of registration of a company
  • ASIC business name registration: If you trade under a registered business name.
  • Other document: Any official paper from the government that shows your exact business name (for example a municipal license or a tax letter).

Singapore

  • ACRA business profile: From ACRA BizFile. It shows your UEN and business name.
  • Certificate of incorporation: From ACRA.
  • GST registration letter: From IRAS.
  • Other document: Any official paper from the government that shows your exact business name (for example a municipal license or a tax letter).

Malaysia

  • SSM registration certificate: From the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM), or an SSM company profile.
  • Business premise license: From your local council.
  • SST registration certificate: From the Royal Malaysian Customs Department.
  • Other document: Any official paper from the government that shows your exact business name (for example a municipal license or a tax letter).

Before you send a document

  • The business name on your document must match your business name on Meta exactly.
  • Have a working website on your own domain that shows the same business name.
  • Upload a full, clear scan or photo: all four corners, easy to read and not expired.
